40 Days of Hope
Lancaster, we challenge you.
Whether or not you are a regular part of our church community, we invite you to take part in lifting peoples spirits in our city during this difficult time. So please, take on these six challenges for the 40 days of Lent and make our city a place of hope!
Thank the NHS

We will be collecting thank you notes from people across our city for all the key workers in the NHS, these will be delivered to the hospital on an extra-large greetings card.
Thank a Teacher
- Send a gift card

Send a gift card from a local business and a note of thanks to a teacher from one of our local schools.
Bless a Neighbour
- Build local community

For this challenge, we will be reaching out to our neighbors, forming WhatsApp groups, and inviting them to take part in challenges 5 and 6
Donate to a Food Bank
- Help those in need

Thousands have used foodbanks for the first time this year, we need to support these vital services in our community.
Let's Love Lancaster Trail
- Celebrate the city

Create a garden or window display for our Let's Love Lancaster Trail, celebrating your favourite part of the city or key workers that you want to say thank you to.

- Gather a team!

Get to know your neighbours by gathering a team of them together on Zoom to participate in this Lancaster wide pub quiz, which neighbourhood will win?
