Give to the Olive Branch
Make a donation and make a difference
This week’s challenge is simply to donate to The Olive Branch food bank. The number of people needing to use food banks has increased dramatically throughout the pandemic and The Olive Branch has been there for the people of Lancaster through it all.
In January of this year, The Olive Branch fed on average 170 people per week (112 adults, 58 Children) so they always appreciate a donation!
Their current needs are: coffee, crisps, cake, tinned meals (such as chilli con-carne, curry, bolognese etc), Fray Bentos pies, Basmatti rice, toilet roll and toiletries (such as shampoo, shower gel, toothpaste etc) size 6 nappies, 10 month+ baby food, sugar, vegetable oil .
Why not add a few of these items to your shopping and either drop them off directly at Unit 2, Lansil Way, LA1 3QY, Mon-Fri, 11am-3:30pm, or at one of the drop off points around the city found here
